Conference Programme

Program Architecture

EuroAsiaSPI² 2019 (18.-20.9.2019) will have 10 international workshop communities which organise thematic workshops on day 1, day 2, and on day 3 as well as international key notes, a research stream, and presentations from leading industry and leading research institutes, and a joint paper award with the SW Division of the American Society of Quality. Workshop communities are moderated by leading research and industry.

The research stream includes peer reviewed papers from applied research in SPI.

Each thematic workshop covers specific thematic topics:

  1. Gamification of SPI
  2. Digitilisation of Industry, Infrastructure, and E-Mobility
  3. Best Practices in Implementing Traceability
  4. Good and Bad Practices in Improvement
  5. Functional Safety and Cybersecurity
  6. SPI and Agile and Lean
  7. International Standards and Norms
  8. Team Skills, Accessability, and Diversity
  9. Medical Device Conference
  10. Innovations - New Service Models, New Testing Methods

Submitted thematic workshop papers are grouped into major topics which can be attended in form of workshops. This allows leading industry to attend EuroAsiaSPI not only for a conference but also for a dedicated topic and allows researchers to present, discuss and meet with industry.

Program Overview - Days 1 to 3

The conference will have 4 parallel streams. On day 1 there are 4 parallel thematic workshops, and on the days 2 and 3 there is a research stream sandwiched by three thematic workshop streams. The future conference strategy of EuroASiaSPI² is to gather core topics and build workshop communities around the core knowledge topics which drive SPI currently. Leading industry and research lead the thematic topics.

Also EuroAsiaSPI² continuously builds the SPI srategy and understanding in Europe and the world and continues to promote and develop the SPI Manifesto.

Attendees can book single days, any combination of 2 days, or all 3 days.
